People in La Quebradita live in very poor conditions, in huts made of wood and corrugated metal sheets. They have no potable water, and people walk a mile each way to fetch water for drinking, cooking and bathing. The water is currently carried from a rice irrigation channel that is full of pesticide-polluted water. 

We would like to install a water well for easy access to clean, clear, water. The well will be dug next to the new school that TGUP will build so the students and staff, as well as the community, will have easy access to clean water.
