The school\u2019s old latrines were full and abandoned. This project built a new block of latrines: 5 stalls and one urinal to be shared by all students and staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:26px\">This project was unique because:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"font-size:26px\">It saved the school from being shut down.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:26px\">The community contributed $1,000 worth of labor to dig the pit, which is 16 feet deep.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:26px\">Over its expected life it will help more than 5,000 children have a better
