Project Description

As part of the 8 project renovation of the Kiahuko Primary School, a new 30'x15' kitchen will be built. This will provide space for cooking, a storage room for food, gutters on the building, two new cooking vats (called jikos), and a new 5,000-liter water tank. The school cannot currently safely cook in the existing kitchen for the 487 students and staff. We have secured a $2,000 matching grant for this project.
