Project Description

Laguna Larga is a very remote rural community located right at the northern border with Mexico. The community has a school with 80 students from preschool through sixth grade. The infrastructure is very poor and consists of thatched roof structures with stick walls. Their top request was for desks, as many students end up sitting on the dirt/mud floor. This project funded 50% of the requested amount.
