TGUP, in partnership with the Little Sisters Fund, will install 12 cement benches in the courtyard area of the Pawan Secondary School. The school has more than 1,200 students, 95% of whom are from economically disadvantaged families belonging to the Madhesi or Dalit groups (untouchables). The school has a dirt courtyard where the children play but there is no place to sit, so they end up sitting in the dirt (or in the mud during the monsoon season).
