TGUP had a chance to bid on a shipment of surplus bottled water. We offered $1 per case for 240 cases. 40 bottles per case. 9600 bottles in all. We got it! With the help of Half Mile 2 Water, an LA-based freight company, we delivered all 9600 bottles to charity organizations: UCLA Medical Center, One Person At A Time which feeds the homeless, migrant worker’s cooperatives, and more.
