The Shining Star Primary School in Nyeri, Kenya has almost 300 students but no playground or place to play. A new playground has been funded by Juan Pablo Mariscal of Planet LLC. It includes two sets of swings, two teeter-totters, two climbing structures with slides, and two sets of monkey bars. All were built of heavy-gauge industrial metal. The new playground will grace the school’s new classroom, which TGUP just finished, helping Shining Star expand to serve 400 students.
