The women’s work center near Talek, in the Kenyan Mara, had experienced Maasai beadwork artisans. They wanted to help the girls to stay in school so they were taught to sew, and then trained on making Save a Girl™ kits. They are now a qualified TGUP Affiliate Sewing Center authorized to make and distribute kits.
