2022 Beehives: Agriculture

, ,

Project # 283 of 411

In 2022, 16 beehives were installed throughout Central Kenya. Honey is harvested to support the maintenance of the hives as well as school operations and family farming. Previously installed hives have resulted in a 3-5x increase in farm production. These hives benefit crops of coffee, maize, vegetables, nuts, and fruit trees.
