Project # 121 of 206

12 beehives were manufactured and installed at the Ngungu Primary and Secondary schools in Kirinyaga. They will provide honey for food and for selling, and the bees will act as pollinators for the kitchen gardens at the schools and for the surrounding coffee bushes on which the community of 500+ depends for their income. The schools are growing their own fruits and vegetables so students learn how to garden, and to provide food for the students' lunches.
