The purpose of the $1,000 loan for the Unique Women Club was to foster entrepreneurship and self-sufficiency among the Club’s women. The women chose to buy 10 goats which are being raised for milk, breeding, and meat. The loan will be repaid every four months and recycled into an expanding fund able to help still more women.
