Working with the Centro de Educación Ambiental de la Peninsula Yucateca, we funded two hoop houses and the tools to propagate and preserve at-risk native plant species in the Yucatan rain forest. The project will protect forests, educate local youths, build community ties, and provide hands-on experience for young Mayans.
