The sewing center, run by our Kenyan partner, will now produce bars of soap to be added to every Save a Girl™ kit. This ensures girls have what they need to wash their kits. This project paid for the setup costs (machines, training) as well as the initial batch of raw materials. Now, soap will cost less than 20 cents per bar.
