The new kitchen was just part of a larger campaign at the Kanjuu Secondary School where TGUP also built a new classroom, refurbished a science lab, provided two cooking jikos for the new kitchen, and installed electricity throughout the entire school. The old kitchen was so run-down that it had become almost impossible to use.
