Many schools in Africa and Asia were closed for the holidays until mid-January so not as many Save a Girl™ kits were distributed as typically are. Even with schools being closed, 1,848 kits were donated to girls, along with the accompanying education, in 3 countries (Kenya: 1,396, Cameroon: 152, and Tanzania: 300).
