With One Heart Worldwide, TGUP will upgrade an existing health post into a birthing center. Basic preventive and emergency care will be provided, including pre-natal care with safe motherhood education; a trained midwife to deal with complications at birth; a clean, warm, safe, well-equipped birthing environment; and appropriate post-natal care.
