The El Naranjo Middle and High School Institute has 137 students and 9 teachers. School management receives a monthly budget to buy nutritious food and cook a meal for every student in the school. However, a requirement to receive the government funding is to have facilities for cooking. This project built a new 13'x23' kitchen.
