Women in the Oloipiri Subvillage used to walk 5 hours each day with their donkeys to fetch water. A hand-dug water hole has exposed a natural underground spring. This water is now pumped through a series of 2 tanks & chemically treated so it will be potable. Details of the system are in the link. TGUP funded 50% of the project.
