A $900 micro-loan was made to the local Women’s Cooperative in Nakilya Village. They bought materials to make sandals, mats, baskets & other hand-made items to sell locally. The loan promotes self-sufficiency and entrepreneurship. It will be repaid within a year, allowing the funds to be recycled so they can help still others.
