In 2025, the Kenyan Ministry of Education mandated that all junior schools must begin teaching laboratory science. But, as with so many bureaucratic dictates, they didn’t provide any money. This project paid local science teachers in Kenya to develop the specifications for a Junior Science Lab in a Box™, similar to TGUP's SLaB.
