There are 719 students (383 boys & 366 girls), many who are sight-impaired, at Balita Primary School. There are also 31 who board full-time. The cook did her best with a dismal kitchen. This project funded a new 6m x 6m kitchen and two cooking kettles, called jikos, allowing for more hygenic and safe meal preparation for all.
