TGUP will install electricity to the 14 classrooms and offices at Shining Star Primary School. Currently the teachers need to keep the classroom doors open to let in the light but this means that the rooms are cold in the winter, due to the altitude. On cloudy days there isn’t enough light to read.

There is a power pole on the road outside the school so putting lighting in the classrooms will be possible.
