In the Favelinha slums outside of Rio, the community did not have any recreational areas for children and many ended up playing in hazardous areas such as dumps and open sewers. This project installed a playground structure with multiple options for kids to enjoy: swings, climbing, and slides. It also provide a safe gathering place for families.
