2024 Monte Carmelo Project – Guatemala

This project built two new classrooms and provided furniture for the Monte Carmelo School in Peten, Guatemala. The 87 children in preschool to 6th were sharing classrooms in one building, as seen below. After hearing of TGUP’s support, the local mayor agreed to bring in electricity and build flushing toilets for the school.
