We are working with the Eco-Soap Bank to provide a 100gm bar of soap with every Save a Girl kit. During the pandemic it is more important than ever for the girls to have access to soap.
Eco-Soap Bank recycles quality soap from hotels and manufacturers — diverting it from landfills — so it’s completely zero-waste. They then pay women fair wages to transform the leftover soap into clean new bars.
We have purchased 5,000 bars of soap and recently started adding them to our Save a Girl washable sanitary kits. The first ones were given to girls at Mwihoko school in the Githurai slums of Nairobi.
