The school currently does not have access to any potable water and illness from cholera, dysentery and other water related diseases is common. The system will install a complex water filtration system and reservoir tank that will provide safe drinking water to the 593 students, staff and local community.
The new water purification system was delivered to the school on March 10th.
The filters have been installed and piped into the building. There will be a long sink installed under the faucets for the children to drink from and wash their hands.
The system has been installed and is hooked up. All that needs to be done is to flush water through and clean up from the installation.
