This is the primary school at Kiahuko, in Kenya. Its eight classrooms house 487 students (that’s 61 students per classroom).
These are the students, assembled with the principal in the main yard.
TGUP has brought in water and electricity, built latrines and a new kitchen, and provided meal supplements to the children. Before this project, there were no recreational facilities of any kind.
