The Kangulumira Parents’ School is a locally owned school with 150 students. They did what they could with limited resources and attempted, without success, to build latrines. This project added new walls, roofing, flooring and doors to the existing structure.
In addition to the school children and staff, the local community is also benefiting from the renovated latrines. There are close to 500 people who do not have access to any other latrines and these help remove E. coli from the ground and water.
