Shining Star started in 1999 in a rented room for just kindergarten. It has since grown to 269 students crammed into old, run-down dark rooms. This project will build a new 37′ x 22′ classroom. Construction started May 18th with the delivery of sand and rock to the school site for use in the foundation. Work is moving along quickly and the walls are now completed.
