Working with TGUP’s partner, Seeds of Learning, this project will replace the flooring in the El Triunfo Learning Resource Center. You generously funded the construction of the building back in 2020, but the flooring was just made of concrete and is now cracked and dangerous.

As you can see from the photo below, the floor was uneven, crumbling, and cracked.

The flooring is being replaced by tiles so the existing concrete had to be removed:

They laid down rebar and are now putting in a new concrete floor before installing the tiles.

Everyone in the community is helping. The children helped remove the old concrete and the women brought water for the men to mix the cement.

Tiling of the floor has begun!
