Irigithathi is one of only three schools in Kenya that educates Special Needs and mainstream students in the same setting. It is also one of the highest performing schools in the country.

TGUP is helping the school expand. It has built a new classroom for the school.  Now, it is building a dormitory to house 30  Special Needs girls.  The waiting list is nationwide.
