Hopeful Hearts Children’s Academy has 236 students, all crammed into 4 classrooms. TGUP recently installed a water purification system for the school, and now we’d like to fund a new kitchen. The current one is dark, dangerous, and not sufficient to feed the children.

This project will fund a new kitchen built on a concrete foundation with walls of brick and a sheet metal roof. It will measure 6 meters by 6 meters and contain two new commercial cooking vats, called “jikos,” which will be ventilated by stainless steel chimney pipes. It will be cladded by iron doors and serving windows.
