The present latrine pit is full so children end up going to nearby farms and streams. This negatively affects hygiene, sanitation, and teaching. It makes it particularly difficult for girls to attend school during menstruation.
The environment smells and is polluted as students defecate around the school campus. This project will build a new 4 stall latrine for the 544 students and 10 staff at Presbyterian Secondary School in Cameroon.
